This recommendation is the strongest and most positive recommendation I’ve ever given for any type of service. Everything was great > communication during the contracting discussions, communication during the scheduling steps, and communication during the entire construction process. Project Manager Justin and his team were PROs. The safety steps and the cleanup were perfect. The respect to my home and gardens was superb. Justin sent me videos and photos every 4-6 hours on status and plans (I must have over one hundred pictures of issues found and resolutions provided). Issues were dealt quickly and my needs coupled with their expertise culminated with the best roof I have ever had on the eight homes I have owned. Justin listened and adjusted and I don’t believe he ever said “no”. I trusted him and his team and they enabled a stress free relationship. Roofing is expensive; but peace of mind is invaluable. G@W provided a great service and a great value. I suspect that this roof will easily outlive me. I cannot say enough great things about G&W Roofing! They were referenced to us from good local friends that have used them many times. They may not be the LEAST expensive, but wow, the quality and communication that you get from them and their crews were just OUTSTANDING. From the initial visit and quoting with Gerald to great communication while the rains delayed plans for a few days, to the day before work starting - they kept us informed via a company group text. Once work commenced, the crew, led by Justin Nachtigal, hit it hard! Wow. They are so good at their craft of roofing! We were transitioning from a clay tile roof to an architectural shingle roof. They did great work. Always cleaning up the site at the end of each of the four work days. Justin was always available to talk to, answer questions or just explain where they were in the process. Felt like they became our best friends for a few days! At the end of the day, the roof looks amazing, they fixed a few areas we didn't even know we had an issue with, and left our home and yard looking like when they arrived. We're to start everyone at G&W went above and beyond on our new roof install. We went with G&W because of there years in business plus they came highly recommended from a previous builder that we had worked with. From our first conversation with Ray to get pricing, to multiple calls and emails getting exactly what we wanted. Then Michael and his crew came in and did an unbelievable job installing our new 24 gauge standing seam metal roof something that should last 30 to 40 years with all the extras that were put into the build. From start to finish the job went perfect! Amazed at how the crew got our roof done in two days. The quality of workmanship right to the end of the job with complete clean up of the yard and all nails and debris removed. We had three quotes done using the same Owing Corning Duration Shingles and Rhino Peel & Stick underlayment. G&W came in at the best price and warranty! Very happy with our roof and it was nice to hear the building inspector say he has had no problems with the quality of work G&W does when he signed off on the dry in and final inspections.
